Murchison Region Aboriginal Corporation (MRAC) provides quality, affordable rental homes to Aboriginal people across the Mid West and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia.

We work hard to provide high-quality, secure housing that enables our tenants to live happier, healthier lives. Having a quality, affordable home provides a sound foundation for tenants to improve their health outcomes; participate in education, training and employment; and contribute to their communities in a positive way.

The organisation is a member-based, not-for-profit, community-managed housing corporation. MRAC does not receive any government funding, and all rental income is spent on improving our properties, buying new homes and securing the Corporation’s financial position and its future.

MRAC currently owns and manages over 110 residential properties. The Corporation has a small, dedicated staff and maintains tight control over finances. Our commitment to strong governance, excellent financial management and the ongoing support of our tenants will make it possible for MRAC to further improve the lives of Aboriginal people in the regions for many decades to come.
